Post 16 visit Glasgow
It was a very early start for the 25 young adults from Post 16 on Thursday 5th October as the boat left from Belfast at 7.30am, that meant being at the dock for 6.30am! After a restful crossing to Cairnryan it was all aboard a bus to get to their destination that was Glasgow City. Splitting up into two groups after a short lunch, one group made their way to the home ground of Celtic, where they were given a free tour of Celtic Park, visited the dressing rooms and a fabulous trip into the trophy room where they actually got their hands on the League Cup - a dream come true. The rest of the students remained in the city centre where they enjoyed seeing the sights and visited the Glasgow Museum of Modern Art. Returning to Belfast about 11.00pm, it had been a long but very enjoyable day for all.
